October 22, 2009 - Our driver Todd Lamb and Team took the Dragon Funny Car to Norwalk, Ohio where not only did they get some exciting testing in, but also some great PR. September 1, 2009 - With the website averaging 1,000 plus hits daily, the Drag-On Race Team is moving quickly across America.
August 10, 2009 - Dragon Motorsports, Inc. went live with the www.dragonraceteam.com website.
In March of 2009, the Drag-On Race Team purchased a competitive IHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car. We wanted to run this car with the NHRA, so there were many changes that had to be made to meet NHRA rule requirements. We've had to work on everything for the body, the motor and a lot of safety components.
On July 3, 2009, NHRA inspected our chassis and gave it a 10.1E 5.99 and faster pro certification. This is a must to compete in NHRA's Top Alcohol Funny Car class. We plan on using the rest of 2009 to test and tune. We also plan on making appearances this year to a few tracks and car shows. We have a full schedule for 2010 planned. We will be competing in the NHRA's Divisionals and their National events. We appreciate your support of America's 1st "Racing Fans Only" sponsored race team.
